A group of Asian open-billed storks (Anastomus oscitans) gather on an elevated, dried path of straw or harvested stalks, winding through a bright green rice field.

The birds, with their distinctive open beaks, rest or forage in their natural habitat surrounded by the lush, new growth of rice plants.
