About ‘Art Deco Jewellery - Fractal’ by Petra Köhler

Searching in the depth of fractal structures can take a very long time. Sometimes I give up, discard the result or close the programme. Then I am annoyed because I have given up. I open the programme again and keep searching, deeper and deeper and suddenly I see something shining. I zoom in further and now the right idea comes to me: I can make something out of this structure. I experiment with numbers and colours and finally get a useful result. The longer I look at it, the more I want to own this kind of decorative brooch. I don't put it on my blouse, because it is only a detail of a fractal. But maybe, who knows, maybe someday, I will have this detail realised by a goldsmith and then I will wear the brooch on my blouse.

I am a passionate registered nurse for the elderly. In the past I photographed a lot. Today I use the camera almost only on vacation. I lack the time for my hobbies. I like to work with different image editing programs. So I can get also pictures, which did not succeed to me. In this way many a digital work of art is created. And that makes motifs that are photographed by the millions unique.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
