Crematorium Heimolen by Claus en Kaan Architecten. The project consists of a reception building, including an auditorium and a crematorium (oven building) on the existing cemetery. The facades and interior walls of the crematorium building are constructed from white prefabricated concrete elements, load-bearing and stabilizing, which are visible on both the outside and the inside as fair-work, 'architectural', concrete. The building is apparently constructed from solid blocks of 1 x 1 x 1 meter. As free work I made a photo series of this building. The photo I present here is a detail of the exterior facade. I like the graphic, minimalist appearance of this image.
