Berlin is a city with architecturally different faces too. Old and rebuilt, new with a touch of old style as here on the Museuminsel.
This photo is of part of the side wing of the James-Simon-Galerie on Berlin's Bodestrasse. Beautiful shadow lines from the early sunlight. Concrete posts whose structure is still clearly visible even in the photo. The bench against the wall that interrupts the rhythm of the lines well, adding a dimension to the photo.
For those who are now going to cross the city and cannot find this spot or think they have found it. This is mirror-wrong of reality. In short you find the place and yet it is different.
Why, because the lines of this architecture stand out so much more beautifully and that is the photographer's choice and eye.
