About "Arch To Arch Citta della Pieve Umbria"

About the artwork

Citta della Pieve is a beautiful medieval hill town in Umbria, Italy. It sits on top of a mountain with incredible views down to the valley below. Parking outside the town walls, you walk in through one of entrances and walk up into the main part of the town. It is a hive of alleyways and wonderful Italian architecture. The play of sunlight and shade on the brickwork is just stunning.

This is a view down through a dark alleyway under a stone archway looking through to the bright sunshine beyond that is highlighting the old stone walls and shuttered windows. There is a second archway that provides a walk through between buildings and through that you can see down to the street beyond. The image is literally looking through arch to arch.

Citta della Pieve is bustling with activity all year round, popular with Italians and tourists alike. It has renowned festivals through out the year, but the joy is really to walk around the town on foot and admire the traditional Italian buildings.

Born in the South of England I now live half way up a mountain in Umbria, Italy. I work from my art studio looking out over fabulous views of the Italian countryside. I am so happy to share my artwork with you.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
