About the artwork

Antwerp Central Station is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful stations in the world. Its entrance hall is so impressive that it is reminiscent of a ballroom in a castle or a cathedral - as the station is also popularly called. More than 20 different types of stone were used for the pompous building, including various types of marble. A large dome covers the hall and allows daylight to pass through, as does the glass arch above the imposing staircase. Construction of the station began in 1895 and initially took 10 years. The station was extensively restored in 1993. In 2007, further modernisations were added, so that today the station has 3 levels and 14 platforms and is no longer a pure terminus station. When you stand in this impressive hall for the first time, you have to take your time to look at all the details of this architectural masterpiece: The pillars, the round arches, the balustrades and the many different ornaments. In the centre above the stairs hangs an antique clock with hands showing the current time. The picture is also available in black and white. How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
