About ‘Ankor Bayon heads’ by Sven Hilderink

Stunning views of several towers of the Bayon temple. It is so special that these faces have adorned this tower for centuries. These serene faces, presumably a combination of the Buddha Avalokitesvara and the face of King Jayavarman VII, symbolise compassion and spiritual strength. This, somewhat stern-looking, figure gives me direction…
