About ‘Angkor: the enigmatic Preah Palilay’ by Frank Photos

Nestling in the heart of Angkor, the temple of Preah Palilay is an undiscovered jewel, enveloped by the lush vegetation of the historic site. Its elegant stone tower, scarred by the centuries, stands proud among the immense roots of the trees that entwine it. Built during the reign of King Jayavarman VII, this Buddhist sanctuary has a peaceful atmosphere that contrasts with the bustle of more famous temples such as Bayon and Angkor Wat. Its refined architecture harmoniously blends Khmer and Buddhist styles, illustrating the religious transition of the period. The entrance, adorned with a sculpted gopura, leads to an esplanade where stone lions and nagas stand as silent witnesses to a glorious past. Less frequented than other Angkor sites, Preah Palilay offers an ideal setting for immersing yourself in Cambodian history and spirituality.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
