Gopsmor is an area of the Österdal river, which is included in the Zorn collections. It is a reconstruction of an area that Anders Zorn bought at the beginning of 1900.

Anders Leonard Zorn (Mora, 18 February, Sweden, 1860 - 22 August, 1920) was a Swedish painter, etcher and sculptor. He worked in a realistic style, often with strong influences from Impressionism. Zorn was the son of a brewer from Germany. He studied at the Royal Art College in Stockholm. In addition to his portraits, Zorn is also known for his depictions of the female nude and for his lively images of the water.
