About the artwork

This photo shows a wide view of the Wadden area, captured during sunset. The sky is the most striking element, with a dramatic and layered cloud formation occupying most of the image. The sun, which is just above the horizon, breaks through the clouds and casts rays of light that spread across the landscape. This creates a palette of warm, golden hues that transition into greys and blues.

In the foreground is a row of rough, wooden poles that mark the bank in a sinuous line. The poles are dark and contrast sharply with the lighter, muddy bottom of the mudflats. Green algae and some vegetation can be seen between the poles and on the bottom, indicating the interaction between land and sea.

The water of the Wadden Sea shimmers in the last light of the day and stretches to the horizon. The sunset and cloudy skies create a serene yet powerful atmosphere, highlighting the raw beauty of the Wadden Sea region.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
