The famous windmills of Kinderdijk, photographed just before sunrise. There was a beautiful cloudy sky, with some of it lit up red and yellow by the first sunlight. I used a filter on the camera that allowed me to stretch the exposure time to half a minute. This moved the sky and smoothed the water, giving a more unusual photo of this much-photographed spot. By underexposing a little, the sky came out even better and the windmills became mere silhouettes.
