An autumnal island above the clouds – a magical retreat

by HyggeHavn

High above the clouds floats a small, dreamy island, on which a cosy little red cottage stands beneath a magnificent autumnal tree. The bright orange leaves form a beautiful contrast to the soft blue of the sky. A long wooden ladder leads up to this extraordinary place, whilst the setting sun bathes the cloudscape in warm shades of gold and pink. Majestic mountain peaks stretch out in the distance.

My inspiration

With this artwork, I wanted to create a place where one can escape the daily grind and simply let one’s mind wander. I am fascinated by the idea of a little home far away from the hustle and bustle and obligations, surrounded by the boundless expanse of the sky. The picture is intended to convey a sense of security, freedom and lightness. Sometimes all it takes is a little retreat to start dreaming again.

A special eye-catcher for your home

This imaginative wall mural combines autumnal cosiness with a fairy-tale atmosphere. It’s perfect for living rooms, bedrooms, reading corners or creative workspaces. As a large-format wall mural, the floating island creates a particularly striking sense of depth and invites you to let your mind wander above the clouds.
