On a quiet autumn day, I walk through the forest. The sky is clear, but the sun is already low on the horizon. Golden light breaks through the branches of the trees, as if nature has wrapped itself in a soft, orange robe. The air breathes the scent of pines and fallen leaves.
The colours around me are vibrant and warm; the red, orange and yellow hues of the trees reflect the transition from summer to autumn. The ground is covered with a carpet of discoloured leaves that rustle gently under my feet. Each step feels like a touch with the earth itself.
I stop for a moment, place my hand on the rough bark of an old oak tree and look up at the spectacle of light and shadow unfolding above me. The sun, low in the sky, casts a magical golden glow over the forest, making it seem as if the trees are on fire. It is the kind of light you only see in autumn, when day slowly turns to night and nature prepares for winter.
My camera is already in my hand. I feel the need to capture this moment, the harmony of colours and light that makes autumn so special. The image I shoot is as if time stands still for a moment: the sun spreading its last rays over the forest floor, the leaves falling around me like a living painting.
In that moment, I realise that this is not just a photograph, but a reminder of the transience of the season. How each autumn brings its own unique colours and feelings. As I look at the photo, I know this is a moment I will always cherish - a piece of the forest captured in the soft light of the day's setting.
