Walking through a snowy central Amsterdam, I suddenly saw this Breitner-like picture at the Skinny Bridge. Luckily I had my camera in hand (with a big pile of snow on the lens!) so I was able to capture it immediately. I especially like the photo because it is not a standard Amsterdam picture, but still instantly recognisable.
A well-known photographer once said to me, "To stand out as a photographer, you have to find your own niche." I never really managed to do that. I just want to take photos that make me happy. And that will hopefully make you happy too. Well, maybe.. Read more…
