Warm Arizona is home to a number of sites where aircraft are stored until they are returned to service or scrapped.
The temperature and low humidity in those areas are ideal for storing aircraft for a long time. The lack of rain and moisture provides the best conditions for aircraft storage, reducing the risk of damage due to corrosion.
