About "Alpine ibex in the mountains"

About the artwork

I came across this ibex male while travelling through the Swiss Alps. He was quietly watching his herd and I was able to get close enough to him for this portrait without him bothering me, a very special experience.

This ibex exudes strength and calm. Its large, curved horns are immediately noticeable and in male ibex can grow up to a metre long. The deep grooves in its horns tell its life story, as a new ring is added every year. Ibex live in the rugged Alps above the tree line, at altitudes of 2,000 to 3,000 metres. There, they move effortlessly over steep cliffs and narrow ledges, protected from predators. Their climbing skills and adaptation to this harsh landscape make them a symbol of perseverance.

This picture fits perfectly into a variety of interiors. The animal's warm colours and calm background make the work blend well with both modern and classic styles. How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
