About "Alone under purple clouds"

About the artwork

This highly minimalist and atmospheric composition creates a deep sense of solitude and infinity. The image is dominated by a dramatic, expansive sky that takes up almost the entire surface. The low-hanging clouds are in muted, cool tones of purple-grey and pale, almost creamy white, forming broad, horizontal stripes that fill the scene with a palpable heaviness and melancholy. The colour scheme is reminiscent of a late twilight or early morning state.

Along the lowest edge, on a razor-sharp, jet-black horizon line, stands a tiny, black silhouette of a human figure. The figure is positioned to the right, emphasising the asymmetry and immense emptiness of the remaining landscape. In the context of the overwhelmingly vast sky, the figure is reduced to its most elementary form and symbolises the tiny but present position of man in the great outdoors.

The entire work is a contemplative study of scale and stillness. The clear separation between the dark earth and the overwhelming celestial space directs the focus to the existential isolation of the figure. How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
