This picture was taken in Granada at the world-famous Alhambra structure. This centuries-old fortress is one of the most famous buildings in the world. Today, you can still find buildings at this location that trace their origins back to the 13th century. The Red Palace, as the Alhambra is also called, is a unique structure with traces of a long period of European history due to its long history of different cultures and influences. The site served mainly as a fortress and palace. You will find traces from the Islamic world and the Christian. Sometimes styles from both worlds in one object. So it should come as no surprise that the Alhambra deserves a listing in Unesco's cultural heritage list.
