Alexander Theodore Honoré Struys (Berchem, 24 January 1852 - Uccle, 25 March 1941) was a Belgian genre and portrait painter in a realist style. His father (originally from Holland) was a master glass painter. At the age of six, he was already a pupil at the Academy of Dordrecht. He later studied at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts (Antwerp), settling in Mechelen, where he became head of the Royal Academy of Drawing. In 1902, he joined the administrative committee for the ninth exhibition of the "Société des Beaux-Arts in Bruxelles" and three years later became vice-president of the "Société Royale des Beaux-Arts".
