Walking through the narrow streets of Albarracín, time seems to stand still. The warm, reddish hues of the houses, weathered by sun and centuries, tell stories of long ago. From here, you look out over a maze of roofs, rough walls and wooden balconies, with the cathedral tower towering over the town like a beacon in the background.
The ancient stone staircase in the foreground invites you to wander further, up towards the city walls, where the past becomes tangible and each nook reveals a new image.
