About ‘Air watch tower Strijensas’ by Martin Stevens

In the 1950s, during the Cold War, 138 air guard towers were built of shock concrete as an observation network for the Air Guard Corps. Strijensas, Strijen, South Holland, Netherlands. This is Air Guard Tower 5K3 and relatively low because it stands on a high dike.
