Pisco Elqui (formerly La Greda and La Unión) is a Chilean village in the Elqui Valley, located in the municipality of Paihuano in the Región de Coquimbo. The distance from La Serena is approximately 107 km in an easterly direction. Because of its extremely clayey soil, the village was formerly known as La Greda. This clay was used by both the Indians and Spaniards in the 16th century for pottery and treasure making.
