A real summer bloomer is the Agapanthus, a tub plant, which (can) lose its leaves in winter. The number of flowers varies a lot each year.
The plant, which adorns our backyard, is regularly visited by bees and other insects, such as this hover wasp or hoverfly.

I am Huub de Bresser and was born in 1955. Since 2007 I am a member of FotoExpressionGroupGemert. My work includes landscapes, nature, lightpainting, macro and abstract photography. In the corona era I started working with soapsuds and smoke photography. This form of photography is always very surprising and after editing in Lightroom and/or Photoshop images arise, which are very alienating.
