About the artwork

In the warm, subdued light, the Buddha statue adorned with gold leaf shines in its quiet majesty. Its posture, the bhumispara mudra - the gesture of witnessing the earth - refers to the decisive moment of enlightenment when Buddha Gautama called upon the earth itself to witness his awakening. Gold and patina merge to form a living symbol of the ephemeral and the eternal at the same time. Behind her sits another golden figure, clad in a fine tunic, sublime in a shimmering mosaic of blue, violet and light. The rays that surround her seem to be woven from pure energy, an expression of an inner truth that lies beyond form and time.
This scene, captured in Wat Pariwat in the Yan Nawa district of Bangkok, is a fascinating interplay of tradition and modern aesthetics. Amidst the ornate ornaments and spiritual symbolism, you can sense the influence of contemporary art trends such as minimalism and abstraction - the clear light, the minimalist approach, the stillness between the forms. Here, religion and art meet in a moment full of poetic power: man, the divine, gold - everything merges into a silent, infinite meditation on existence.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
