About "Aerial Bloom Hindu Portrait"

About the artwork

This painting shows a Hindu inspired portrait lifted by wide white space. Color blooms rise like petals around the head and a small group of butterflies punctuates the air. The face stays calm and readable with a clear bindi and soft light on the lips and eyelids. Splashes and drips are kept outside the features so the contour remains clean at large size.

I wanted the sensation of color carried by wind more than a literal scene. Sketches explored how far the background could open while still holding a strong gaze. Warm saffron and coral meet cool teal and indigo to create a balanced festive mood without overwhelming the skin tones.

Layers of transparent washes built the facial planes and the main color fields. Selective glazing refined the eyes and mouth and light dry brush set a few hair edges and butterfly rims. The result is an airy contemporary statement that pairs well with neutral walls warm wood and matte frames, delivering impact from across the room.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
