About the artwork
Abstract panorama of drops on a fluff ball is a macro photo of water drops on the fluff of a dandelion photographed from diagonally below. This photo has been edited and has black/white/brown/beige tones.
By magnifying small things around us, which we barely see, for a moment, they can surprise and amaze us!
The depth of field is shallow, (just a tiny sliver of some fluff). This creates, besides a dreamy atmosphere, a sense of depth in the work.
The droplets also help create this dreamy atmosphere, they reflect the light and this creates sparkles among the dandelion fluff.
The lower part of the work appears painterly. The faint lines of the stalks of the fluff follow each other almost rhythmically. The work has been cropped to panorama size.
