About the artwork
"Abstract minimalist lines in nature" is a macro photograph of the fluff of a dandelion photographed from below. On the fluff of the dandelion are small drops of water.
The depth of field is very small (only a few millimeters from the middle fluff with droplets) which creates not only a dreamy atmosphere, but also a sense of depth in the work.
Because the fluff in the background and foreground become increasingly blurred and the fluff that is very far away even becomes almost lines and planes, the image becomes a cooperation of the very sharp fluff and vague abstract lines and planes.
The drops also work to create this dreamy atmosphere, they reflect the light and thus create sparkles between the fluff of the dandelion.
The light creates a simple image that looks like a line drawing.
