"Abstract Lines in Grayscale" is an (extreme) macro photograph of a fluff on a dandelion with water droplets on it.
The sharpness and focus is on the point just behind the center point of the fluff. Because the depth of field is very shallow (only a few millimeters from that point), in addition to creating a dreamy atmosphere, there is also a sense of depth. Because of this shallow depth of field, after just a bit the fluff fades into abstract lines that seem to merge into the background.
The drops also work to create this dreamy atmosphere. They reflect the light and this creates sparkles and reflections in the drops between the fluffy hairs of the dandelion fluff.
Association: tranquility, zen, water, drop, nature, abstract, fluff, white, light, natural, minimalism
Great as a wall decoration for the waiting room, bedroom, hallway or of course just above the couch!
