About ‘Abandoned view’ by Frans Nijland
Fort Chartreuse in the Liège region of Belgium. A huge military complex built in 1817 on Mount Mont Cornillon. You can almost get lost there through the endless corridors and many rooms. My name is Frans Nijland, I am an amateur photographer and I live in Delden Overijssel. For years my great passion was urbex photography, capturing the decay of abandoned buildings. For this many trips have been made in a large part of Europe. Over the years my interest has broadened to include nature photography, architecture and urban photography. I hope you enjoy my photos.
Sincerely, Frans Nijland.
