This photo was taken in an abandoned village in Namibia called Kolmanskop, near Lüderitz in Namibia. The village originated there as diamonds were being mined. After the mines were exhausted, there was no reason to continue living there in the middle of the desert. Therefore, over a hundred years ago, the village was abandoned almost overnight. Due to Namibia's dry climate, the buildings are still partially intact. But stormy weather in a desert, has blown sand in and on everything.
For many photos, it was therefore necessary to climb in through windows to take photos inside the houses. It is nice to see that a lot of colours are still present.
