This cement factory in Italy was built in 1878 by the Pesenti brothers. When it was merged with Piccinelli's cement, it became one of the largest cement companies in Italy, Italcementi.
At the end of 1939 the total production capacity was 60 tons and it employed more than 400 workers. During the Second World War the factory had to close.
The factory closed in 1974 and the production was moved to a modern factory. The demolition was partly started but also stopped, such a shame because it is a beautiful Italian industrial monument. It is immense and bizarre to walk around!
