About ‘Abandoned beach’ by Nanouk el Gamal - Wijchers (Photonook)
On the western side of Ameland, near Hollum, you have a beautiful beach. Walking northwards from Sjoerd, the beach is wide and deserted. The scattered dunes, from large to small, give you a different view every time.
This is a great place to be in winter, you feel like you're alone in the world and when the weather gods (I love wind)…

Door de jaren heen hebben verschillende richtingen binnen de fotografie mij bezig gehouden waaronder concertfotografie, fine art nudes, cityscapes/architectuur en portretten. Maar landschappen zijn mijn grootste passie . De juiste compositie zien te vinden in combinatie met het juiste licht is een uitdaging. Maar als je de combinatie gevonden hebt is het resultaat soms verbluffend.
