This is a photo of a beautiful staircase in one of the buildings of an abandoned sanatorium complex. The construction of the complex started in the 30s of the 20th century. In the 60's, after treatment of tuberculosis with penicillin became much more effective, the complex was closed. Since then, the buildings have been abandoned and dilapidated. Because of the 'rules' of the architectural heritage, every project or sale to work on the complex was stopped.
