Tips for use

Point your camera at the floor or a piece of furniture first, then move it slowly up towards the wall. A bare white wall is hard for your phone to recognise.
Move your phone gently from side to side. Holding it still or waving it around quickly does not help.
Make sure there is enough light. In a dark room your phone has nothing to lock onto.
The artwork appears at its true size, so you cannot scale it in AR. Want a different size? Close AR and pick the size on the product page.
Still nothing? Open this page in Chrome or Safari. AR does not work in the browser of apps such as Instagram or Facebook.

About ‘A wordless embrace.’ by Robert Jan Smit

In the blink of an eye, an image emerges that feels as though it has come straight out of a love story. Two prairie dogs huddled close together, their little paws wrapped around one another, completely absorbed in a moment of peace and trust. The close-up makes the scene even more intimate: all attention is drawn to the gaze, the touch and the silent communication between these social animals. Prairie dogs are known for their strong group bonds. Within their colonies, family members recognise one another unerringly and maintain constant social contact. This embrace captures precisely that bond. Not spectacular or grand, but small and pure — and precisely because of that, so powerful. Thanks to the limited depth of field, distracting elements fade completely into the background. What remains is emotion. The warm tones and soft details in the fur reinforce the sense of security and turn this nature photograph almost into a portrait of affection and trust.
“An embrace without words” is an image that radiates calm and warmth. Perfect for lovers of wildlife photography who are not only seeking beauty, but also want to see emotion and a story reflected in a photograph.
