About the artwork
"A square with a round Ball Thistle" is a macro photo of a bulb (flower) of a Ball Thistle. This bulb looks very cool up close. Looks like there are all kinds of flowers on it.
The background was created from an effect I created using lighting, camera settings and a few materials. By applying this in the right way, you get beautiful spheres (actually more like 8 corners) in the background, in all kinds of different shades of brown, such as beige, taupe, sand and cream.
Because I chose a shallow depth of field when taking this photo, mainly the front small "flowers" are in focus. The further something is behind it, the further it fades. This gives a sense of depth to the work. In addition, this also gives a nice dreamy feel to the picture. If you zoom in on the work, you can see this clearly!
This work could hang beautifully as wall decoration in, for example, the kitchen, bedroom, dining room or just above the sofa! Also beautiful in business locations such as on the wall in a meeting room, office, waiting room or practice room!
