"A square with a quarter fluff bulb" is a macro photo I took of a piece of a fluff bulb of a Tragopogon (in the Netherlands this plant is also called Morgenster). This plant is very similar to a common Dandelion (it is also related to each other). After flowering, the flower turns into a fluffy bulb. Here you can see a small piece of such'a fuzz ball. The seeds are attached to the heart of the bulb at the bottom left, and on the other sides are the fluffy seeds. These provide a nice interplay of lines in the photo.
When taking the photo, I chose a small depth of field, this ensures that the further back you look, the fainter the fluffy bulb becomes. This creates a sense of depth in the work, and this also adds a kind of calmness to the photo by not emphasising everything. If you zoom in on the photo, you can see this beautifully.
This work could hang beautifully as wall decoration in the dining room, kitchen, bedroom or just above the sofa! (Also of course beautiful in business spaces such as on the wall in a meeting room, office, waiting room or practice room!)
