Sloterplas is in the middle of the western suburbs of Amsterdam. The lake was dug between 1948 and 1956 and is about 30 meters deep. Much is recreated on both the water and on the banks. The photo was taken on the western shore and from a position where the sun is covered by the tree. This has resulted in a special light. The photo fits any decor, home or office!
