Gustav Klimt (Baumgarten, now part of Vienna), 14 July 1862 - Vienna, Austria 6 February 1918) was an Austrian symbolist painter. He is considered the most prominent member of the Vienna Secession, of which he was also chairman for some time. Characteristic of his later works, with which he became best known, is decorative ornamentalism (in which he often also worked with gold leaf) and suggestive-erotic symbolism. He made his name mainly with his female portraits and allegorical works. Klimt's art originated during an artistic heyday in Vienna of the belle époque and is often associated with the Art Nouveau and Art Nouveau movements.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
