"A hydrangea petal in a wintry-feeling landscape" is an (extreme) macro photo of a piece of a hydrangea flower lying on a bed of a winter-feeling material.
The colours of this scene are natural and calm: white, brown (beige and taupe) and shades of grey.
This work gives me a sense of winter/Christmas and ice cream fun.
If you zoom in on the work, you can nicely see the detailed structure of the hydrangea leaf. In addition, you can then also nicely see the contrast between the structure of the leaf and the background and foreground.
The lower leaf (and also the lower part of the right leaf) lie behind the watery material, which distorts this hydrangea leaf as it lies behind it.
This piece could hang beautifully as a wall decoration in the dining room, kitchen, bedroom or just above the sofa! (Also of course beautiful in business spaces such as on the wall in a meeting room, office, waiting room or practice room!)
