A sheep stands in the middle of the grass, its paws firmly planted in the soft greenery. The animal looks straight at you, with an open, almost curious gaze. Its ears cocked slightly, as if it has just noticed your presence. The chewing has stopped - frozen in that one moment of attention and silence.
Its fur is bright white and its dark eyes look up curiously. The background is blurred, the grass fading into soft hues, leaving all focus on that one animal - calm, observing, a split-second where man and animal meet.
I am an image-maker with an eye for detail and a sense of atmosphere. My work is best described as minimalist and conceptual, often with subtle layers.
