About ‘A eider in sea ice’ by Danny Slijfer Natuurfotografie
An eider duck swims along the coast between sizable ice floes in the Wadden Sea. Also called ice pancakes. The photo was taken near the pier on Texel. It was the winter of 2020 and it had a couple of very cold weeks. A bizarre picture of the Wadden Sea that we are not going to see so often anymore.
