This work is a collage of 3 world famous works by Johannes Vermeer. The glass of wine is the main work, in which respectively the Milkmaid and the Girl with a pearl earring have been given a place. The Milkmaid hangs as a painting on the wall and the Girl with the Pearl Earring is placed in the foreground and stands, as it were, in front of the painting. The colors used in the three paintings clearly show that they are by the same old master. Finally, art with a wink from old masters and new masters!

About image-maker Peter Bartelings: as a born and bred Amsterdammer, I feel closely connected with the city of Amsterdam, also as a photographer and image-maker for FotoAmsterdam.com.
