The digital artwork "Flamingos" depicts five stylised flamingos that appear hushed in a uniform pose, waiting for the right moment to stick their heads in the water. The birds stand on one leg, their necks gracefully bent as if moving synchronously to an invisible rhythm. The backgrounds and colours are not realistic but suggestive: the water is a deep, almost ethereal shade of purple, muting reflections and evoking a dreamy atmosphere.
Each of the five flamingos differs subtly in size, adding a sense of perspective and depth to the composition. The largest one takes centre stage and forms the visual anchor of the work. Towards the back, the flamingos get smaller, creating the feeling of moving further away from the viewer - except for the fifth one, at the top right of the image, which is not only the smallest, but is also shown mirrored. This mirroring deliberately breaks the rhythm and creates a visual echo, as if this bird is a memory or projection of the others.
The style is minimalist, with clean contours and little detail, but with a sophisticated use of colour that plays with nuances of pink, lilac and purple. The reflection of the birds in the water is invisible, blurring the boundary between sky and surface. The whole breathes silence, concentration and an almost ceremonial calm, as if these flamingos are performing a ritual in a dream world without people.
