The digital artwork "Ameland" captures in one mesmerising image the essence of the Wadden Sea and the unique atmosphere surrounding the island. The real subject is the vast, magnificent sky and the water stretching before it. The sky occupies most of the image and shows an impressive array of clouds. These clouds are powerful and voluminous, composed of shades of white, grey and subtle shades of blue, making the dynamics and constant movement of the weather over the Wadden Sea palpable.
