**"Het Gele Kasteel"** is a digital artwork that brings a sunny afternoon in Utrecht to life. At its centre is the iconic PhRM building, also affectionately called "the Yellow Castle". The façade shines in an intensely warm, almost golden yellow hue, captured by the bright light of a beaming sun that envelops the city in a summer glow. Shadows fall sharply on the pavement, where daily life is visible in tiny details.

On the pavement in front of the castle is a carelessly abandoned bottle of beer, gleaming with sunlight. The bottle forms a subtle human counterpart to the monumental architecture: a small trace of presence in an otherwise serene scene. The combination of the historic building and the everyday object creates a tension between grandeur and simplicity, between timelessness and transience.
