About art! herrschleinig
Mr Schleinig. Close-up. Far out.
I’m Florian, a photographer from Hamburg. I’m interested in two perspectives: up close, where a dahlia becomes a patch of colour, and far away, where a road in the Scottish Highlands disappears into the mist.
It all started with my grandparents’ old Praktica. Today, I’m out and about with my camera along coastlines, in alleyways and in fields of flowers, from St Peter-Ording to the Faroe Islands.
My pictures hang in homes all over the world, from IKEA and the Redwood Art Group to Rosenstiel’s. I take pictures that you don’t just look at, but live with.
