Photography is a lifelong journey for me. As a child, I was playing with a box at home. At 15, I learnt to print black and white photographs and that has been my fascination for a very long time. When I joined a theatre school, I started photographing all the productions that were being made and after my studies, I was a theatre photographer for a few years. Then my brother died and there was a depressive period for me that I came out of when I met my wife and started photographing children.... from then on I did a lot of commissioned photography, reportage and portraits, but now there is time to develop my own work. Black and white has given way to colour. My eyes are always looking for beautiful light. I always strive for images that not only give an answer, but also ask a question. And I still enjoy walking around with a camera as much as I did when I started photographing.
