About Bert van Wijk

Ik ben Bert van Wijk. Ooit begonnen als vliegtuigspotter in de 80-er jaren kreeg ik in 1988 mijn eerste spiegelreflexcamera. Een Praktica MTL3B die tot 2003 trouw dienst heeft gedaan in weer en wind. In 2003 kocht ik een Canon EOS300V.
In 2007 werd deze vervangen door mijn huidige Canon EOS400D. met 18-55mm kitlens en 70-200mm telezoom. In de loop van de tijd is dit uitgebreid met een 120-400 mm. Naast vliegtuigen is de nadruk de laatste jaren meer komen te liggen op natuur en landschappen. Ik woon in de Gelderse Vallei, dus de natuurgebieden op de Utrechtse Heuvelrug en de Veluwe zijn vlakbij en leveren elk jaargetijde weer inspiratie. Fotografie combineer ik vaak met geocachen. At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
