I grew up in the canton of Aargau (Switzerland) and studied media sciences at the University of Bern. I was already interested in photography as a teenager and rediscovered this passion in 2016. Since then, I have developed my own style through self-study and continuous photography in everyday life and while traveling.
I am fascinated by unusual perspectives, color contrasts, and graphic compositions. I like all types and categories of photography, but I have a particular fondness for street and landscape photography. I am also a big fan of minimalist—often abstract—images.
My goal is to take pictures that stand out. This often involves special lighting conditions and a surprising perspective. I photograph what I like, what catches my eye, what irritates me, what interests me. Many of my pictures are taken in everyday life and during leisure activities. To put it bluntly, I don't go to a specific place to take pictures, but rather take pictures wherever I happen to be.
