I make large colourful works, mostly portraits because they give me a lot of inspiration. I try to capture the emotion and expression of a face in the colours. The works are mostly spontaneous and consist of a mixture of acrylic paint and a heavy gel. A portrait has to radiate something special and I am usually only satisfied when there is a dynamic between the image and the colours. My work hangs regularly in well-known galleries, art fairs and on the nationally known art markets. After five exhibitions in Florida, the original works are increasingly sold internationally.
